The Cambridge @ Serangoon Gardens N2 children continued their exciting exploration of structures. After an enthusiastic sharing session about the large vehicles they have spotted on the road, the children dived deeper into learning about fire engines, semi-trailer trucks and double-decker buses.
They observed and compared the shapes, sizes and features of these vehicles, noticing how they are different from regular cars, from their towering heights to their extended lengths and multiple wheels.

To wrap up the experience, the children worked together to design and build their own “big vehicles”. Applying what they had discovered, they experimented with shapes, balance and structures. The children then tested their creations to see how well they could move. Through this hands-on activity, they strengthened their observation skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, making learning both meaningful and fun.
