The Cambridge @ Sengkang Toddlers and N1 children explored the world through their sense of touch using feely bags. As the children took turns reaching into each bag, curiosity and excitement filled the room as they discovered what was hidden inside.
One bag contained soft items such as cuddly toys, pompoms, yarn, and fabric, while another was filled with hard objects like bottle caps, ice cream sticks, beads, and even a playful fake durian. With curious hands and joyful expressions, the children touched, felt and explored each item. They compared their objects with friends and shared whether the materials felt soft, hard or smooth.
Through this hands-on sensory experience, the children strengthened their sensory awareness, built language skills and practised social interaction, while nurturing their natural sense of wonder and curiosity. It was truly a fun and meaningful learning journey for our little ones.
