Our curious little K1 engineers at Cambridge @ River Valley took on an exciting challenge of exploring how the height of an inclined plane affects the distance a toy car can travel! The adventure began with each child making predictions and charting their ideas on a bar chart. They then formed groups based on their hypotheses and set up ramps at varying heights to put their theories to the test. With lots of teamwork, observation and experimentation, the children discovered that the steeper the ramp, the farther the car rolls. What an awesome way to learn through play!
