At Cambridge @ River Valley, the children celebrated World Book Day and Earth Day with fun, creativity and purpose. With the theme “Read Your Way”, they were encouraged to enjoy reading in their own unique style, making it a joyful and personal experience rather than a task. We were also thrilled to welcome some of our parents who joined us for special storytime sessions and added warmth and magic to the day. At the same time, they observed Earth Day with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” which highlighted how small daily actions like saving water or reducing plastic use can make a big difference in protecting the environment.
To bring both themes to life, the children watched presentations and engaged in hands-on activities such as creating Earth-themed books and posters, crafting crowns and designing colourful mosaics celebrating both their love for reading and their care for the planet.
