The Cambridge @ Serangoon Gardens K1 children investigated the concept of simple machines, focusing on the wedge. They observed how the thin edge of a triangular block easily penetrated moist sand, while the flat edge struggled to push down and move forward. The children made predictions about the outcomes of their experiments and eagerly tested both triangular and rectangular blocks by pressing them into play dough. It was a fun and engaging day filled with discovery and learning.
