The Cambridge @ Artra Alexandra N1 children immersed themselves in the fascinating world of sound, exploring how vibrations create the sounds we hear. They observed vibrations firsthand by plucking rubber bands and learnt how the vocal cords in our throats vibrate to produce our voices. Their hands-on learning continued as they experimented with musical instruments like tambourines, ukuleles, drums, and triangles, feeling and hearing the vibrations that bring each instrument to life. These engaging activities not only sparked curiosity but also deepened the children’s understanding of how vibrations create the sounds that surround us, fostering a newfound appreciation for the science of sound!
