The Cambridge @ Midwood Kinder children dived into the fascinating world of “Simple & Compound Machines” for the new term! The hands-on learning kicked off with an exciting experiment where they constructed a “Ring a Bell” machine using everyday materials such as books and wooden blocks. Tasked with rolling a ball down an incline to strike a bell, the children engaged their creativity and problem-solving skills. Through trial and error, they explored different angles and configurations, fostering critical thinking and collaboration.
The joy and excitement were palpable when their hard work paid off, and the bell finally rang! This engaging activity not only introduced them to basic physics concepts but also encouraged perseverance and teamwork.
