The Cambridge @ Midwood N1 children had a wonderful time making play dough! They enjoyed a hands-on, sensory-rich experience measuring and mixing the ingredients. As they explored the physical properties of the materials, they also learnt about changes in states of matter during the mixing process.
Once the playdough was ready, the children engaged their senses by touching and feeling the texture, noticing the colours, and even smelling the playdough. They used their hands and elbows to flatten it and create different shapes. It was amazing to see the children’s excitement and engagement as the activity not only provided sensory experiences but also helped them develop essential skills in a fun and interactive way!
