As part of their Chinese project on the theme of “Occupations”, the Cambridge @ Artra Alexandra K2 children were delighted to welcome a class parent who shared about his profession and led an exciting exploration activity titled “Global Economic Renewable Energy – Wind Power Generation”.
This enriching session aimed to cultivate early environmental awareness and introduce the concept of green energy to our young learners.
Using a wind turbine model, the children learnt how wind can be transformed into electricity for everyday use. They explored key questions such as: Where does electricity come from? What is renewable energy?
Through this experience, they discovered that natural resources like wind energy are not only clean and sustainable but also help reduce environmental pollution and protect our planet. Most importantly, wind energy is a renewable resource, abundant and inexhaustible.
A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker for the engaging and meaningful session!
