The Mid-Autumn Festival, a cherished tradition in Chinese culture, was celebrated by the Cambridge @ Fernvale childcare with great enthusiasm today. The aim was to immerse the children in the beauty of this age-old Chinese festival and instill in them a sense of joy for their cultural heritage. Dressed in elegant Chinese costumes, the children were given a hands-on experience of the festivities. The children explored the world of mooncakes and paraded with lanterns, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival. They came to understand that the Mid-Autumn Festival, with its luminous full moon, symbolises a yearning for one’s homeland and dear ones afar.
