The Cambridge @ Midwood Toddlers had an exciting exploration of the concepts of “Sink and Float”! The children were engaged in hands-on activities that allowed them to experiment with various objects to see which ones would sink and which would float. It was wonderful to see their excitement and learning in action as they placed different objects such as plastic toys, rubber ducks, ball, metal spoon, and stones in a tray of water. They eagerly watched how each object sank or floated, learning through direct observation and interaction. The toddlers were encouraged to touch and move the objects in the water, fostering their curiosity and understanding through tactile exploration. This hands-on approach helped solidify their grasp of the concepts.
