Cambridge @ Midwood celebrated Racial Harmony Day with a focus for our children to learn, appreciate and celebrate the diversity within our community. Our pre-schoolers were engaged in a variety of enriching activities designed to promote understanding and respect for different cultures and backgrounds. They learnt about the origins and significance of Racial Harmony Day, gaining valuable insights into why this day is celebrated.
Both children and staff wore traditional attire representing various cultures. It was heartwarming to see their pride and excitement as they showcased their outfits to their friends! The children also performed songs from different cultures. Although some of our younger ones were a bit shy, we are incredibly proud of them for bravely standing in front of an audience. To end off, the children had loads of fun engaging in different traditional games such as Hopscotch, Chapteh, Five Stones, Spinning Top, Zero Point, Can Toss, and Paper Ball. They definitely had a fun time!.
