The Cambridge @ Fernvale K2 children had lots of fun during their camp at Pulau Ubin. For most, it was their first time on this little island off the coast of mainland Singapore. They observed the differences between the buildings and roads on Pulau Ubin and on mainland Singapore. The children went on a short trek on Butterfly Hill and were amazed by the various species of butterflies. They also learnt the importance of host plants and insects in the ecosystem. The children had the opportunity to build a campfire and prepared lunch over the fire. The light drizzle during lunch did not dampen their spirits! Armored with their ponchos, the children braved the rain and enjoyed their lunch surrounded by nature.
